XM button not working

XM button not working

I bought a used 2005 tl. The navigation dvd drive is broke therefore the navi screen says please check disc. I wanted to use the xm radio however when I press the xm button on the radio nothing happens. The cd player and the radio work fine. But xm I get nothing.. any ideas?

does a fuse run the module in the trunk? if so which one?

See if the satellite antenna port on the back of the head unit has been disconnected.

It plugged in, I took the molding in the trunk out, and the two connectors are connected
