What year came with AUX input stock?
 

Hi, all.
I don't know if anyone answered this question or not, but I searched and no luck so far.
I'm trying to purchase TL in couple month like 04-06. I would like to know what year came with stock AUX input with navi system.
Is it an option when people purchase their car or is it just a factory option...
Please help me to find a right TL.

I think it was only 07-08 but could be wrong i am sure someone who has been into 3g's for a while will chime in.

If the stock aux came with only 07-08, than my option is that go with fm transmittor or aftermarket aux in? I would like to connect my ipod with my car.

Oh..one more thing, is it possible to install just the aux jack into like a center console? or in the arm rest?

To run the ipod without a crappy FM modulator you will want to look at the ipod adaptors from peripheral or USA spec. I have a 07 Type S and it has the factory AUX but I run peripheral adaptors in my Hummer and Z06..... they work great.

I would suggest doing a search since the ipod topic has been covered quite extensively on this forum. Doing this should answer any and every question you should have...... good luck
