^all people are different. some people choose to buy a good brand of sub and amp combo.
some are cheap and buy the cheapest.

some people are interested in sound quality.

Some people are interested in SPL (MORE BOOM)

what I'm trying to get at here is that, THERE ARE FREAKING HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS of different sub and amp combos that people put in.

you're going to need to be MORE SPECIFIC, in what you want, as subwoofers and amps are not LIMITED to TL's.

people have been adding speakers and shit to cars since Henry Ford Made the Model T.

Furthermore; to get additional ideas; you will need to browse the audio section, as there are really great write ups on what people have been doing here on acurazine and their TL's.

For example;

There are just so many different combinations that YOU WILL NEED TO READ THROUGH, to get a better understanding.

You not being specific on what kind of Alpine amp you have, but class D amps small foot prints are on recall, I would check your model of the amp. They like to get super stupid hot and get caught on fire.....

I had no clue.. Thanks for the heads up. Mine is a MRD-M605. I haven't noticed it overheating but I don't always check it either. I'm only running it at 4 ohms so it shouldn't have to work too hard.

Yeah I'd say so. I had the P3 sitting around so I just picked up the Alpine used online for cheap. Do you have yours in a ported box? What's it tuned to?
