What changed in 2011 NAVTEQ Navigation DVD Map UPDATE v3.A0

I have the older DVD currently.. I have hacked it.. so no nag screen.. also I have always been able to input addresses etc.. while driving..
I am wondering if the new update will remove the ability to input data while driving.. this is very annoying and should be the option of the driver..
I can choose my radio station ... or should i pull over to do that too..?

Any way I just wanted to know if anyone with an 2004 TL has the new DVD and if it allows you to enter addresses while driving..

I was just about to start my own thread- but I noticed yours and I thought I would piggy back (AKA Hi-Jack) a little I hope you don't mind.

<MyQuestion>
Does anybody have a list of the "upgrades" from disk to disk for the Navi System? I assume the street maps are upgraded to identify new streets address etc, but are there any feature upgrades?

I looked at the "navi-hacks" and quite frankly it seems like more work then its worth, to add the climate controls, and my own pictures....

I'm sure there is a thread on this some where, but I have searched and have not found anything yet.

Also if there are feature upgrades, identifying which disk to search for would be great! Thanks again for the assistance. </MyQuestions>

The one feature upgrade that we are aware of is that the Daylight Savings Time is fixed due to the changes a few years ago. I'm sure there are other minor things but I'm not sure of a published list anywhere.

The 3.8 hacks are really easy to install because the hack contains the modified files already so there's nothing to repack - all you need to do is burn the files and load them. Downside of using these hacks is that you're using 3.8 firmware, which does not have the Daylight Savings Time fix.

So essentially the only "updates" that have been done is the maps themselves (and a DLS Bug fix)
