Weird Navi Problem - Auto/Night/Day

Hey guys. I was hoping someone could help me with a Navi problem. I have 'auto' selected in my setup screen regarding the night/day brightness stuff. The screen automatically switches to night mode during the day when I turn my lights on, but stays in day mode no matter what at night time unless I actually select 'night' in the setup screen. Any ideas? Thanks.

Do you have your brightness setting for your dash display on MAX. This would explain why the NAVI is in day mode at night.

If you have your "Brightness" level for your lights set on full, the navi screen will always be in the "Daytime" mode. Try setting the brightness levels down one notch. This should set your navi screen into automatic (bright when it is day and dim when it is night or your lights are on).

Also, after doing the above, if you need to turn your lights on during the day, say for rain or because you are on a two-lane road, just hit the "MAX" button (to the left of the steering wheel above the brightness control) to bring the Navi back up, and then hit "MAX" again to toggle it back to the Auto setting.
