Viper 5901 w/ Fortin EVO-ALL or XPressKit DB-ALL?

Hey All,

I am going to be putting a Viper 5901 into my '06 TL and my wifes '11 CR-V. My question is which bypass module should I use and why?.... I was looking at the Fortin EVO-ALL and the XPressKit DB-ALL. Thanks in advance.

Ive been installing professionally for a long time and am MECP certified and the absolute best module in my opinion is made by audiovox fl-can.I am doing mine tomorrow and am using this module. You would have to get it flashed for your vehicle, but IMO it is the best module out right now. Very easy to hook up, allows data to data interface as well. It takes care of oem alarm disarm as well, so you dont have to go into the driver door. Also takes car of lock/unlock/door trigger/immobilizer and a lot more. The db-all is a great module as well. http://www.amazon.com/Audiovox-FLCAN.../dp/B001RB1TYM. Let me know how it works out. Good luck

The FL-CAN can be flashed or programmed to work with a number of different cars. Your local bestbuy should have the module and you should be able to ask the installer to program it for your vehicle.

I work at best buy doing installs. I havent had any experience with the DB-ALL but the FLCAN works like a champ. It takes all of 15 seconds to flash the module with the right program and cable. both are specific to the flcan module itself. Plus it makes the install cake compared to other modules. and it will work on both the crv and the tl.

I agree 100 percent. FLCAN=Install Sex IMO. No going through the door jam harness for factory alarm disarm. All of like 5 wires to hook up to take care of pretty much everything...Off topic question...Is your shop doing tint yet? if so hows it going

Yea we have been doing it at my store in chesapeake for a few months now. Im pretty good as well, but we have only done employees cars so far, so we have only made a little bit of money off of it. I have a feeling we will do more when it gets closer to spring/summer.
