For the NAVI hack we have to use a newly created burn disk with the hack files? And we run off our navigation of the new burned disk?

Or are we uploading a new NAVI hack disk -- a CD-R or DVD-R to the NAVI Ram Drive? And using the OEM NAVI Disk?

If you mess up how to default to factory settings?

v3.40 files will work for 3.30....

I downloaded cebin. I cant figure out how to use it. When I click on cebin application a minimzed dos screen momentarily flashes then disappears.

 

If you can't figure out as much as you have done, you probably don't need to be doing the hack.

 

If i have a step by step instructions it can be done.

 

There are several threads with step by step instructions. You are burning a disk with just a few hacked files on it. You load the cd with these files onto the navi to install the hacked files, then you put in your acura navi disk and let it load.

Since I now know we are downloading hacks to the RAM.

If I upgrade to the latest NAVI disk then these hacks will not work?

How do you clear out the RAM to default settings?

 

The hack for ver 3.7 or later will work for the newer disk. You will need the older files. If you can find them for 3.0 or 3.4 they should work.

You disconnect the battery for 30 min or longer to reset the navi.

The actual hack process is almost identical on all disk versions. You are just using different hack files. You can take a pick of any of the hack threads and just read....you will learn a ton. Even if it isnt for your exact version.

 

Warning!! It can be a very frustrating process!!! Have plenty of CD-R on hand...lol...
