Angry USASpec Question

The 30 pin connector never really fit my case right so I'd somewhat force it in and improperly remove it for the last month or so I've had it... up until last week it was working great and it started to lose audio on the right channel unless I wiggled and held the cable at the proper angle - hitting road bumps would cause it to go out. Today, I can't even get my iPhone to start charging - it acts like its not connecting to anything. Would it be safe to assume that the cable is just jacked? I could flat out buy one on the internet but its a $30 part. One of the locking pins doesn't even work right anymore. I removed the cable and reseated it on the actual unit but that didn't do anything. Anyone ever have a similar experience? Will USASpec replace the cable without any hassle (I don't think I have my receipt or even the original box)?

Thanks.

I had a similiar situation. So i replaced the cable. Sometime the right channel volume ouput is less than the left. I got pissed so i bought a newer model USASpec.

Turns out it was a combination of the clip wearing out, and the fact that I somehow managed to bend two of the pins in my iPhone... had to pay out of pocket to replace the iPhone but the audio store I purchased it from was an authorized USASpec merchant, so they were able to swap the cable out right then and there. Problem solved.
