So my CD player recently decided to crap out. Tried searching around with no results. Those with this specific adapter, how is the sound quality on this thing w/ ipod/iphone? I read on another post that the isimple one the volume is like 5 notches lower compared to playing a cd which is why i went with the usa spec. If it doesn't match the quality of a CD I will be forced to upgrade the HU...

Its great in my opinion. You just have to make sure the volume on the ipod/iphone isnt set to max, I keep it like 3/4 of the way up or else it sounds terrible and distorted. The volume level isnt ridiculously loud, but its good enough for me and most people. Ive had both a USAspec and a DICE adapter and they are both about the same

I have the iSimple kit and it sounds great . Just make sure the quality of the song is good . Bad quality songs will make anything sound like crap
