Anyone else experiencing some static or other noise from the USA spec adapter?

For example, in between tracks or when I pause my ipod, you can hear some static instead of silence. Its more apparent when the volume is turned up. Also, when my iPod's HD spins up, you can hear a whine and some ticking sounds through the speakers.

 

Some models of iPods are noisy when feeding audio through the dock connection. That is the case with my older 3G 40Gb model. In my experience it is especially noisy when the battery is low on charge and the unit is drawing charging current through the dock while at the same time outputting audio.
