URGENT: Navigation Question

I recently purchased a 2005 Acura Tl. I love the car but I have experienced a major issue with the navigation system. I sometimes will just get stuck in the start up loop. It will just keep doing it for as long as the car is on. I solved this once by cleaning the DVD and then using a DVD player cleaning disk. THe system worked for about 15 times. Now its doing the same thing and nothing is working. I have attached images of what my navigation system is reading when I go into the system BIOS. This DOES NOT LOOK GOOD!!! I have heard these problems costing lots of money! Has anyone had this exact problem, and know how to fix it? What is the cost to fix this? Can you buy an aftermarket navigation system and replace the stock one? If I replace it will this mess up anything else like the fan speed and clock screen above? Someone please help me! I'm getting very frustrated.

That sucks that your nav is not working. I wouldn't call it URGENT though. Your car still drives and works, you just can't use your navigation system. If it worked once, try cleaning it again. Maybe you need a new DVD.

Mine started doing this the last few months too...
It loops the boot logo a few times takes about 15-20 minutes and eventually gets to the warning screen to press Ok...
After that it seems to work fine.

Looks like mine might get messed up very soon too.
I would think you need to take the unit to Alpine to get it repaired.
