Hi, I was told that their was an updated Navigation CD that came out. I was wondering if anyone has purchased the update, and if so what kind of changes are on it? Anything with the restaurants?

This year's update includes updated points of interest (POI) and map coverage. There are no additional navigation features.

 

is there only 1 cd for both US and Canada?

dealer said that there were 2 dofferent CDs .. but my garmin unit has a 4gb hdd that has all of NA, which woudl easily fit on a DVD

i have a 3.5 DVD from my 06

 

Your dealer is correct. There are the USA Navi DVD and CA Navi DVD.

I just picked up my Antracite 06 MT on New Years Eve. I was looking through the setup and info screens and it shows a date of 6-22-05 as the version for the navi. Is this the latest compiled version?

Also, I notice that the URL for reordering the updated discs is an Alpine website. Is the TL Stereo and Electronics all made by Alpine? I believe I saw an iPOD adapter specifically for alpine stereos!!!!!!
