Unsuccessful with Motorola DC600 adapter & V300 phone

I just received my motorola DC600 bluetooth adapter and was unsuccessful in pairing it with my Motorola V300 phone. Followed the instructions but the TL was unable to find a phone to pair in car.

Back she goes today for a refund and I'm just gonna buy another phone.

Urghh!

tibidip:

Who's your provider? What phone are you going to buy??

I tried the DC-600 with my T720C last night and no good. It's not even compatible with the HF-800 wireless speaker I bought.

Let us know what you end up doing.

Regards,

Regards,

Lee,

My current provider is Tmobile and they do not offer a wide selection of phones with Bluetooth. I am going to go with the Sony Ericsson T610 just because I've read some people being successful pairing that phone to the TL.

DC600 and HFL Profile

Did anyone contact Motorola regarding the DC600? I am sure if Motorola knows of HFL profile and the demand for it, it's very simple for their engineers to create the HFL profile for the DC600.

Although i could never get the car to recognize my phone again.. Was a major pain but at leats i got a taste of it.

i have a t720c and the dc600... im returning mine today.

This has been tired.. Most say they can pair the phone but the TL doesn't work right with it. Take a look at http://www.acura-tl.com/forums/showt...ighlight=dc600

a really bad guess would be to just pull.. Assuming you looked all over for a button to push and release it pulling is about the only thing I can think of.. If that doesn't seem like it might work did it come with a manual?? Hope someone else has an idea.

it came with a manual but i did not see any "how to remove" instruction. i believe the adapter is meant to be a permanent thing, but if it wont work with my baby (Acura TL ) then i dont want it lol. The only option i see now is to take it to a motorola dealer, have it dismantled and then romove the adapter, then put everything back together. But as u can see, thats alot of work i dont feel like doing lol. any help would be much appreciated

late response

um yeah i just got the email from this site.. along with a bunch of other "responses" they must have been backed up...

To remove: snap it out to the side instead of front and back...
that is to say while looking at the phone move it to the left or right... it comes off.. the pins are just new and catchy in the beggining..

BTW the DC600 does not come with HFL.. so it may pair.. but its pure luck. This means that its not transmitting or transfering any live data using the HFL profile that we need.. Ie it doesnt broadcast ( thats how the TL picks it up) it also doesnt send data regarding your callerID etc. Even incomming calls can only be answered using specific non HFL standard protocals.. meaning in the TL you have to hit answer on your phone for it to pick up.. whereas with the bluetooth headset you can click the answer button on the headset...
