most people have only have success with AdobeMan's program, or some real expensive software (Circa or something)
Why bother? If its an 08, you can just burn MP3 CD's.. about 150+ songs per disc
if you are trying to burn for higher quality, its pretty pointless.. you need already 5.1 mastered songs (WAV uncompressed) and its pretty damn hard to find....
plus the DVD-A, doesnt show song titles, it wont burn a song unless the frequency is just perfect (44,100KhZ , 128, 196 or 224KBps... all wierd tracks that are like 145kbs, never play back).. and it takes like an hour
burn mp3 Cd's..

^ but yea, if you really wanna do it.. you gotta use the AdobeMan program... it has an autoscript, that decompresses MP3 to WAV, the makes an .ISO image of the uncompressed tracks in DVD-A format.. then you burn the .ISO to a DVD-A.. its a big process (unless he revised the software)
Adobeman is a member on here, just search for him or his threads

The 07-08 TL cannot play DVD-R's with MP3 files on them. It can play DVD-Audio where it is in DVD-Audio format. You will need the adobeman software (free) or buy the Cirlinca DVD Audio Solo software to burn this. Honestly, go into itunes and burn your MP3's onto CD-R's, you can fit tons of music on one, like 100+ songs.

I think there's a misconception that you can burn a DVD full of MP3 tracks, like a CD-R, only better because of the higher capacity of DVD. However, it won't work. The player won't be able to read MP3 files off a DVD.
As others have said, CD-R is the way to go.
Make sure your MP3 tag info is good, and you'll be able to see the names of the Album, Artist and Track on the TL's display. (2007 and newer)
I ran into a problem with the display showing "No Information", but was able to resolve this by removing the cover art from the MP3 tag. I'm still trying to find out why the cover art sometimes causes a problem.
