Hi,

I took a test drive yesterday in an 08 TL Navi and an 08 Type S. It seemed that the Navi systems looked the same but sounded different.

Does anyone know for a fact if the Navigation systems are the same or different between the TL Navi and the Type S ???

the navi is the same, the difference is the radio, the Type-S comes with ACTIVE NOISE CANCELLATION which reduces interior noise by upto 10 DB

A ten decible decrease would be half as loud. I seriously doubt that the Type S active noice cancellation is that good. In fact, I can't tell the difference in interior noise level between my Type S and the loaner.

is the navi the same??? i thought the base 07 duznt have navtraffic, and the type s duz ... i could be wrong but that was the impression i was under

 

OK guys. I am aware of the ANC in the S but just wanted to confirm the Nav systems are the same. Thanks.
