We have an 06 TL and an 06 MDX - both with Nav. One of the Nav differences I have noted is that that the MDX system will give you information - IE: move your cursor over a green area on the map and it will tell you what golf course it is...same goes for lakes, parks, etc. The TL has never done this ~ move your cursor over a similar area...nothing. I recently upgraged the disc and expected the new version would have this feature - but there has been no change. Has anyone experienced this? Does my TL Nav sound like it is working improperly? Thanks

When I had my 08 TL-S I would be able to put the cursor on something and it gave the name of it. Like you mentioned. Not sure if the 06 Navi had that function yet. But if the MDX had it, would think the TL would as well. Aren't they the same system? OH and welcome to AZ

the 06 MDX uses the same system in the 07-08 TL, the 4.xx disks. The 04-06TL use the 3.xx system which is a bit dated and lacks these newer features.
