TL keyfob error

Hey guys, I keep getting this error message in the dashboard screen when using remote #1 (Remote#2 is fine):

"Customization not available until linked to remote."

The weird thing is both remotes are linked. But with remote #1, I am able to use the lock, unlock, and trunk button.

Any ideas on how to get rid of the message?

Are you sure the remote is linked?

Change your driver's seat manually, then use the remote. If the seat doesn't move back into its preset position, your remote is NOT linked.

Once a remote is linked, it also stores the audio, climate control, mirror and driver's seat settings.

The linking instructions are in the manual and on the back of the remote. G/L.

So being able to use the lock/unlock/trunk button on the remote doesn't mean it is linked?

I followed those instructions of "turning engine on, pressing lock/unlock, turn engine off" etc... (4 times) and on the 4th try press the button twice. I did all that and still see the error message.

I will try changing the seat position and unlocking with remote #1.
