Is there a limit on the "breadcrumbs" on the Navi?
I left the manual in the garage at home because I was cleaning out the trunk, so forgive me if this is an RTFM question. I wanted to ask before I forget, basically. Is there a limit on the amount of "breadcrumbs" the Navi will store when you drive in areas with no coverage? I'm curious because I spent most of last week north of the Navi's coverage limits and it laid down a ton of breadcrumbs. Prior to this trip, I had a large number of breadcrumbs about half a mile from home where a new road opened in 2003. Those breadcrumbs are now gone.
Not a big deal; I'm more curious than anything else.

It makes sense that there's a limit, since each "crumb" takes some amount of finite memory. However, I don't recall ever seeing what that limit is. I ended up turning them off in my car because it always drew them when I went in the parking garage at work and the screen was getting cluttered.

I dunno for sure, but I have about a bzillion bread crumbs in an area near my house that I frequently traverse. I suppose the system could have a cache that is purged periodically too, but I haven't seen this behavior on my system since I moved to my current location about 7 months ago.
