Stock Subwoofer Rattle

The back middle speaker (im guessing its the sub) rattles a lot when I have music playing. Does this happen to anyone else? How do I get into to it? Through the trunk? Thanks.

OKay, the deck only makes some rattles. THe rest is the sub rattling. To much power going threw it will rattle like fuck. Get a new sub, ditch the old one.

how do u get rid of the old subwoofer? I have an Alpine Type x 12" that i feel is pushing the old subwoofer up into the grill. Even though the stock subwoofer isn't functioning.

Sorry, I dont think thats the case. The rear deck def. contains all the sub rattles. How does a sub rattle? It doesnt, it just creates rattles. Getting another sub isnt going to solve existing rattles in the car. If anything, itll make them worse.

I just rolled a paper towel up real tight and tucked it in the back window and that took me 2 mins and $1.06 . Widows r tinted so u can't see it. Zero rattles.

You have to pull the rear seat and the C Pillar panels to get the rear deck off. Then you can remove the OEM sub from the top (inside the car). Its not THAT big of a deal, but will take some time.
