I need some help from my fellow aziners. I have seen a thread explaining how to keep the factory head unit, eliminate the factory amp, add aftermarket amps and speakers and sub. But I can't find it.

Please give me some threads that I can look at. Or if you know what thread I'm referring to please post it. Before someone says "Search is your friend" I would have to say I don't know what to put in the search field to find what I'm looking for. No idea whatsoever.

In a nutshell, I want to add aftermarket speakers and a sub, one 4 channel amp and a mono channel amp for the sub, and still use my factory radio.

 

try a hi low converter and a sub and amp wiring kit

 

I am a real greenie when it comes to audio stuff so I have a partial idea of what you are talking about. I've done speakers and head units, but never added amps or subs to any system.

I was kinda looking for threads with diy.
