Stereo problem
 

Hi i have a 2006 TL. recently after being on for about 10 to 15 seconds, My stereo makes a little pop and the sound goes out, however, all the lights and numbers stay on. The volume and tuning knobs, work and change the numbers, but there is no sound. All of the buttons fail to work after the little pop. Anyone have anything like this happen or an idea of what it is?

Amplifier dead. Replace or rebuild it

Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it. I suspected that was the case.
Do you have any thoughts about an affordable upgrade for the amp, and also for the control unit in the dash?
I feel like I could really use an upgrade there with a backup camera and nav. I have the Canadian version of the 06 TL.
