Something weird happened on my driver's seat!

hi, i am new here, and just purchased a 05 TL, and when i was driving at night the other night, when i turn on the headlight, somehow my driver seat is kinda warm(toward my back). But i don't feel the same way during the day. However, the steering wheel feels alil warm at night when the headlight is turn on, but that kinda makes sense because of all the steering wheel controls and dimming lights. But it confuses me when i feel the seat is warm, and it's not where my butt is sitting. It's more toward my back. And i am sure the heated seat is not on. Did anyone experience this? Thanks

Might just be that your back is heating up from sitting on the seat. At random time's I have also felt like my seat heat might have been on but it wasn't.

I just purchased an 04 TL 6MT with 66,800 miles and I noticed my steering wheel control areas were getting warm on 690 mile trip home. They only got warm, not hot to the touch. They did not increase in temp, but stayed same. I did not notice this anywhere else in the interior.

Also, I had no issues with "heat in the seat".

It may be just your imagination. If you truly feel like the seat is heating up, grab an infrared temperature probe and check the temperature of the seat. That should verify if it is indeed heating up.
