Hi, I'm new to the site. I have an '05 TL w/Nav. My original Starmate just crapped out and am looking to install a new unit. I'm looking at installing either the new sportster or starmate. They are really slim and sleek but the problem is the new mounting docks seem to negate that. Has anyone installed these in their TLs? Looking for placment ideas with pics.

Searching the site, I have seen some slick Starmate Replay installs in the bottom compartment on the center stack. Should I just go that route if I can still find one?

Any ideas would be helpful.

Appears most of the installs in the FAQ are of the Starbase radio, which I may eventually end up going with. Just wondering if anyone had success with a clean Sportster 4 or Starmate 4 install. Thanks.

Other than hiding the unit in one of the center console storage bins, the other route is to mount them somewhere. Most use a Kuda or ProClip as seen here:
