Lol sorry. I was in an intense game of COD4 with some buddies hahah.

For some reason, I can't get the link to work anymore but I think it was just the JL Cleansweep correct? Anyways...There are a few people that use it here but it's pretty much useless in our cars man. All that unit does is make the signal flat along with a few other little things. A full fledged processor will do MUCH more. Our signals are already pretty flat so no need for that unit. You can fine-tune with a processor so I suggest saving for an Audison bit.1, MS8, etc

The headunit in the 3G TL offers a full-range, mostly flat signal. You could use a Cleansweep, but it would not do much.

I would save your money for a 3Sixty, Bitone.1, etc. and just the signal coming from the headunit for your install, for now.

thankx for the input guys...i would of wasted 200 bucks easily....

i was hoping i could enhance the audio quality... because i use the factory headunit sometimes...i hate having to buy cd's and burn music into them...however..cd audio quality isnt as loud when i use the aux plug...

also i mainly use my aux plug now...but sometime the audio quality is weird....i use my iphone which comes with really crisp and loud music...but when i use my psp..the quality of the music is the best but its really low...

1.) as of now im pushing a jl audio 12w7...with a 1000/1 jl audio slash series amp..

2.) Currently Disconnected but i have a 450/4 slash series JL audio amp for my highs and mids...i felt like i was gonna blow up my stock speakers so i took it down...(until i buy new components)

im planning to get 2 sets of these for my TL...

http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_c...php?comp_id=65

would u guys recommend the Rockford Fosgate 3sixty with my setup? or other brands?..to me money is not an option...i just want the best audio quality my system can produce...

but seeing Jamie's system (JPTL04) inspires me to use the Rockford Fosgate 3sixty...

do you have any inputs on the bitone.1 vs the 3sixty.2 or 3sixty.3??

what makes the bitone.1 better than the 3sixty.2?

I would wait for the 360.3

I wouldn't buy JL components either.

This.

Either wait to see how the RF 360.3 performs or pick up the Audison Bit.1 now. For components...post your budget. You can do much better that JL for components for their price

are JL components that bad?? i never bought any JL components in my life so it will be new to me...

i had plenty of different kind of subs & components such as pioneer...punch..kickers...but when i got to the JL stuff.. i just never went back to any other brands...

a budget hmm...for 4 speakers in the car im willing to spend 500 to 1000 i could spend more but over 1k for just 4 door speakers is just over the board...i know i said money isnt an option but keep it to a minimum.. im not gonna spend like 3k etc for just subs..you get me?..

and for the audison bit.1 and the RF 3sixty ill decide between these two...i want to hear more about the 3sixty.3 first though..

Dyn audio 3 ways upfront and about 700-900w of bridged power would've been awesome.

I'll be back with suggestions in a few.

Going from Pioneer (certain ones), RF Punch, Kicker, etc to JL is the reason why you think JL is so good. Don't get me wrong, the w6 is a great woofer and regarded very highly among the car audio world but very close or better can be had for less regarding damn near all of JL's products.

Well then you're in good shape! Because I'd spend 500-1000 on just fronts and say forget the rears. Rears wont do much and will throw off your soundstage. You've got a bunch of very nice options in that range so I'd try to get opinions and listen to everything you can find. Keep your eye out on here or DIYMA to see if anyone is local to you.

HAT Clarus/Legatia
Hertz HSK/MLK
Focal Polyglass/K
Rainbow
DIY
..etc

and for the audison bit.1 and the RF 3sixty ill decide between these two...i want to hear more about the 3sixty.3 first though..

are these the door speakers?? 3 way speaker with 700-900 watt??

let me google this

TRUNK MONKEY - Thanks for the input on audio brand..i might just get the Focals.. Orginally i had two components on my mind..

1.) JL Audio

2.) Focals...i had my eyes on these right here

165 V30

6.5″ 2-way kit, separate crossover with tweeter level control
specifications

woofer Polyglass cone
tweeter TNB
chassis Zamac
max power 160W
nominal power 80W
sensitivity 92 dB
frequency response 55Hz - 25kHz

Who knows..i might end up getting Focals...i've read a lot of Reviews for the Focals...people seem to choose Focals > JL on components...

who knows...i might end up choosing something else... i just need to research more and get more inputs on other kinds of components...
