Talking Samsung D807?

hey guys,
do any of you have the new Samsung D807 from Cingular and tried paring it with their TL? I was going to do this today but the local Cingular store was way too busy.

I'd love to hear your feedback about what works and what doesn't. It seemed like a great phone. I have a V3 Razr and it's just a little thicker but the screen on the D807 is very bright, nice colors and a good resolution.

no signal or battery levels, but it works great!

I was able to successfully pair my D807 with the TL. No signal or battery levels are displayed in the MID, but no problems. Also, it doesn't have the annoying 3 second delay after answering an incoming call. Maybe there's a 1 second delay but I've gotten used to pausing for a little bit after answering an incoming call.

D807 Bluetooth in TL

Dear all,

My SE T637 worked great with TL Bluetooth. I just upgraded to Samsung D807 and found it had no signal strength display nor battery. Furthermore, the bluetooth connection between the TL and the D807 is not automatic like the T637. Instead, the phone asked if the audio connection to TL is permissible? But the phone is in my pocket and I never looked at it getting into the car.

One more problem when I made a call, the call failed at first with the error mesage "it's impossible to make the call", then it made it anyway.

Does any of you experience these and how you get around them?

Thanks, Vic

Same here, I think you have to set the device up in the bluetooth menu as "authorize" it will connect automatically. Not sure did it about a month ago and now I'm on crutches and it's a real pain to get to my car.

I have a samsung A900 from sprint and it works very well with the exception that I cannot end calls from the steeringwheel which is a pain. It also does not show signal or battery strength on the MID but thats not critical. all other functions seem to work. check handsfreelink.com

D807 Works Great with TL via BlueTooth

Thanks to all who wrote. My Samsung D807 works great with TL (2004). No signal strength, or battery strength indication though. No matter. I am just spoiled with my old Sony Ericsson T637 (which I actually think is a better phone although D807 being newer has more bells and whistles).

I jus got my samsung D900 and i think its one of the best phones on the market!!! The reception and sound quality thru the HFL i smuch better than the razr. I dont get battery or signal strength either but i could care less. Samsung makes some of the best phones out there.
