I just installed my subs and have a lot of rattling comming from behind where the license plate attaches. I took off the plate and it has the same rattling. I dynamated the back of my plate so its not that. Also I used "quiet car" which has the same effect as dynamat but it is a liquid. After I put it on the same rattling was there. but all the other rattles are gone. Does anybody have this problem? any ideas how to get the quiet car in the right spot?

Is it the actual license plate hitting the car? If so, why not put a foam strip around the edge of the plate so when it hits the car it won't make the noise.

nope not the plate. I took it off and it makes the same noise.
