Random question about Fogs

So I'm one of those people who drive around with my lights on, i'll admit I like how the HID's look in the day time. I was wondering however if there was a way to wire the fogs on my '04 TL to come on independent of the the headlights? so basically have the fogs on without having to have the headlights on

You would probably have to wire them to a separate switch. If I were you, I would install the newer gen style fogs in the corners of the bumper and then run a separate switch to them.

Also you do know, that the fogs are not HID's right?

You can also purchase the DRL kit which converts your OEM fogs into DRLs.
I don't want to put the hours on my HIDs and I like to drive with my lights on, too.
The kit was ~$40, installed easily and does everything I want it to (06 BaseTL--no loss of functionality--ie: the fogs still work like fogs at night). Just another option for you.

This has been asked many times in the past, and the answer is yes, its possible, but NOT with the stock fog light control switch, you will need ot install a new switch or run that DRL kit dwb noted.
