Puttimg MP3s or WMAs on a data-formatted DVD

Since the '07 TL plays CDs with WMA and MP3s, I can't see any technical reason why it would not play a DVD loaded with the same music, since the head unit can obviously read DVDs (as it plays DVD-A). But all indications are that this won't work. I guess I can try it and see ...

I searched the forums for mp3 and dvd, but I think the search only searches 4 character words and greater.

Can anyone tell me if it's possible? I'd rather get 6x the amount of music on a DVD!

What a shame - creating a DVD-A still only gives you up to 99 tracks, while a DVD with MP3 or WMA could give closer to 1000. Oh well. I guess it's back to installing an iPod interface so I can get my ~8 Gigs of music loaded!
