I can only comment on the Isimple..
Pros
Charges your Ipod
Able to control the Ipod using the radio buttons
Ipod text displays on screen.
Cons
If you leave your Ipod plugged in for more than an hr, while the car is off, the XM radio module doesn't come on. Meaning the Isimple wont work, until you drive for a few minutes.( I actually waited over an hr for it work while driving)
Depending on the temperature. Isimple won't work when its too hot or too cold.

I don't have any of those problems with my iSimple.
I have one in both of my TLs. I would buy another one.
They are pretty good, but they take a while to get used to. You cannot really control it from the navi screen. It uses the steering wheel buttons, the tune knob and the numbers on the bottom (1 through 6). If you are expecting some slick GUI like you might find in an apple product, then you will be disappointed. You basically use the 5 and 6 buttons to navigate forwards and backwards and the tune button to go up and down - you can use the steering wheel buttons for most of this too. You can use the navi for this, but you are basically hitting the 5 and 6 buttons on the navi.
You can get some 10" subs that need well less than 1 cu feet of sealed space, and less than 1.5 cubic feet of ported space. Even in a square box, these do not take up much room.
