Proclip and Isimple Do they config??? Elegant TYPE S might know this!!

Im sure you all saw Elegant TYPE S setup and HELLO PROCLIP... Your gonna dump about 80 Bones for it!!!

Does anyone have the proclip and the isimple together.. If you look at the choices that proclip gives u.. They have an option where u can add the Power input cable and it stays there Look at Elegant TYPE S's setup.. What i was reading was that the casing for the clip is only so big and it gives the dimensions of what will fit or something similar to that size..

Does anyone have the proclip with the cable case part?? Does the isimple cord connector fit in the housing??????

the isimple cord is similar as the cord that comes with the ipod. width wise it is the same, it is a little thicker and the length/height of it is relatively the same. i do not have the proclip so i cannot verify that it actually fits

after looking at that pic..i doubt the peripheral adapter will fit through there. the power jolt looks to be the same size as the apple ipod connector, the peripheral connector is definitely thicker than 7.0mm

NVM .. I got it.. seems like you're trying to get the 2nd Gen iTouch mounted. I have the iPhone 3g and the mount that I used was:

Proclip Item # 915246 ( just put that in the proclips search field)
Proclip Item # 853465

The dock was a simple pass through connector, meaning it already had a connector built in to the holder, and all you had to do was connect your cable to the bottom of it.. so no dimensions were necessary. And that holder alone was $100 bux plus the TL mount was another $30 so yeah very costly, but beautiful if you desire quality.

For your device however there is no pass through dock, so what you'll have to do is buy the one they are selling that houses your cable and if its too small to fit the cable, you will have to use a file and file down the plastic in the back to make it work and fit. It can be done with patience, its just millable plastic so no issues there but gotta be precise. The guy told me to do the same thing with mine too so I could get the $50 dollar mount opposed to the $100 one but I didnt want to mess with it and just shelled out the other $50 after spending all this. LoL

To answer the questions of whether it will fit or not, I know for a fact 100% it WILL NOT fit. The dimensiosn are very tight and got no room for tolerance so you will be filing. But I'm confident after seeing the device now in my hand I could've done it myself.
