I have an '05 TL that I just purchased on Saturday. I love everything about the car. Just had the windows tinted...having a 12" rockford fosgate sub put in on saturday...everything is great.

My problem is that when I try to pair my BB curve I get thru all of the steps until I get to the point where I am suppose to give my phone a name. The manual suggests "eric's phone" so I assume anything should work. I've tried Bens Phone, Blackberry Curve, Bluetooth. Every time it kicks me back out to the radio/cd ect. According to the manual it should give me a confirmation that it accepted the name....any ideas?

Try deleting the bluetooth connection on the blackberry and then repairing. Also delete the phone from the HFL as well. I went through the same issue when I was pairing mine.

...and remember to hit the HFL button before you say "eric's phone"...I sometimes forget to hit the button when it asks a queston.

I just went through this problem with my new Samsung Instinct. I couldn't get it to pair until today. Check out the thread for some suggestions - I'm sure they'll help you getting it working. From what I've seen searching the web, in almost every Honda with HFL this problem crops for a minority of users.
