Please Help. Out of town installation and short of time. Need help with Nav xm switch

I am In Pheonix AZ doing a professional installation with Cardinal Stereos (
a proffesional installer reccomended on the http://www.avelectronic.com website)

I am only in Pheonix,AZ for another day or two. Being that it is labor day
weekend i only have one more day in town to install the audio feed
correctly. Tomorrow. (saturday sept 3rd).

They have done a superb job on installing the TV Tuner and 10 disc DVD
changer except there is some confusion regrading how to get the audio feed
in through the XM button interface using the spliced method, rather then the lower quality alternative using the FM Mod reducing sound quality.

If you could please reply with some suport ( even though its a holiday i
would appreciate it alot! I need some specifics on how to connect to the xm
wires behind the nav unit. Does anyone have any electronic schematics? or perhaps
even a slight explanation that I can forward to the techs to simplify this process? they are fairly certain they can figure it out, but in the interest of being exact instead of mucking around Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Please reply here and if you know you got some good info text message me at bhaidaya@vtext.com in the interest of time!! any info would be greatly appreciated.
several ( not may ) pictures were taken that i plan to post for the rest of you still considering this mod.

Many thanks in advance.
Ps.

I believe BJ has a somewhat recent thread about Blitzsafe adapter coming out in 3 weeks or so. That is how to get the sound you are looking for without losing XM. The TSX club used to have a sticky with a lot of detail about splicing an adapter similiar to what you are talking about. Had pictures too. Might want to check there.

I'm not sure this is exactly what im looking for but it looks exactly like what i need.

Supposedly the AV control unit from AVElectronic.com has the ability to 'tap' into the xm wires as a part of the kit. Meaning they provide the wires and instructions... seems that im short some hardware or perhaps just missing how indeed this happens. They say its plug and play.

Anywho if i can't get it to work the avelectrons way... i'll go the route of SNHND3 Modification. Thanks alot moreace for the info.

EDIT:Typo

I don;t think you can currently wire to your headunit without losing XM. I believe it uses teh XM harness location. Wait 3 weeks for the Blitzsafe and you should be able to use both. Temp u can use FM modulation. I might be wrong, when BJ gets to this thread he will clarify
