Please help me out !!!!! (alarm)
OK this is what I purchased.
1.Viper alarm 5900 sst
2. idatalink solo series
The problems
1. I am having issues with alarm, I push on the remote start and it tries to start but it is unable to.Not sure if my bypass is the issue.
2. I want to disarm factory alarm and keep my memory 1 setting I have read threads and they say to tap into the factory door module inside door panel but I cant find it, these two things are holding me back. What does door module look like?
This is the diagram
Factory Alarm Arm Wire: Blue/White to White/Red
Factory Alarm Arm Wire Location: Driver door module in door.
Factory Alarm Disarm Wire (-): Black/Red to White
Factory Alarm Disarm Wire Location: Driver door module in door.
Factory Alarm Disarm but No Unlock Wire (-): N/A
Factory Alarm Disarm Wire Location: N/A[/B]
Please help.

Please specify your year and trim level on your vehicle...
problem
1.a. Model and current firmware installed on the module...
1.b. Did you interface appropriately on the factory ignition harness...ie
- Key data to the idata to pin 2 of the factory ignition harness
- segment the Security LED wire on pin 5 of the factory ignition harness...proper orientation?
- give the iData unit ign power from pin 6 of factory ignition harness
1.c. did you hook up the ground when running output from your 5900 to the idata unit.this is a must otherwise the Idata will not kick out the approriate signal to allow vehicle to start...
1.d. i also do believe that the idata does require a + starter input wire
2. you want your memory seat and mirror position to be recalled everytime that you utilize your 5900 remote?
lemme know
