Planning to install Gps Tracker need a bit help

I am planing to install a gps tracker in my car so i can know where my car is when i lend to my friends ...

Here are stuff thats required...
Boost Mobile Motorola i335 ....Bestbuy
This DIY software ....instamapper

I might plan to hardwire with the car battery... but before that i need a good place to hide the cellphone so it can have reception and also able to lock gps.

I did try today with my blackberry it did worked good but when i try to hide phone under the seat it didn't locked the gps so it was of no use...

Guys i need help to hide my phone in such a place that it can lock gps and still invisible...

Uh, you spent how much on a GPS system so you can lend your $38,000 car to "friends"? Good luck with that arrangement.

That's a much better reason to buy a GPS tracker.

how big is the phone? You can always remove the center speaker... or you could hide it under the driver side dash under the kick-panels...

Something better is mobile gaurdian, you pay some $$$ at first, but after that you don't pay monthly charges and plus you get added features such as speed lock, remote shutoff, etc.

I use it and love it...
