For people who have DVD capability on their Nav screen...

Is Dom's kit worth it? I mean, when you watch a DVD on the Nav screen, is the resolution bad, okay, or actually good? Can you watch a movie on it comfortably? And if you had to put subtitles on in the movie, are they legible? This question isn't for people without stock LCD's.

Also, how often do you guys actually watch movies in the TL?

The reason I ask is because I just want to know if it's worth spending the money on.

The Dom's unit would be worth it if u also are installing a backup camera. I originally was just going to install the backup camera, and in order to get that up and running, i needed dom's unit. Since dom's unit has TWO video sources, you mind as well install a dvd/ps2 or whatever you like to it.

i have a TL-S so I'm not too worried about the backup camera....i dont want to install it to find out that half of the picture in the movie will be cut off because the resolution of the stock LCD isn't quite up to par.

I just got my installed, and I must say that i am very impress with the unit. I like how it switches automatically when you're in reverse (to turn on the camera) and automatically come back to normal screen when you're in drive/parked/etc.

Resolution for me is good (You can do adjustment on the dom unit as well as on the dvd player), i was impress. same with the dealer who installed was as well.

The people in the front and back can comfortably view the screen. I'll be playing it everytime i am driving becuase i listen to the songs that from karaoke (instead of ripping them onto cd).

I have a screen shot of the video that I played in my car (and it's karaoke)

Hope this answers some of your questions.
