I am having trouble pairing the 8130 (Sprint) to the TL. The funny thing is that this is my third phone this month. The other two 8130's had problems in other areas, but they paired. The new phone works, but doesn't pair. I have deleted the old phones from the system. The phone does pair with other devices. Any suggestions?

What version do you have on your Blackberry Pearl? Try getting the update through your carrier's website or directly from Blackberry's website. The updated version takes care of the Bluetooth problems people had with their cars. I also had problems with pairing with my Pearl and the TL. Sometimes I would have to manually pair it or it would stop flapping with the HFL. That was until I downloaded the updated version. Now, whenever I get into the TL it automatically pairs and no more flapping. Good luck bro.

yo i have the same phone 8130 blackberry but from verizon and it does work however it tricky you have search for a bluetooth device from the phone and once find the handsfreelink you connect it and you set

i originally had problems pairing my bb pearl, but was able to fix it by going to the bluetooth settings and playing with the options

i had to make it a trusted device with the bluetooth always on

did it pair at first? cuz when it does, you gotta be quick to make sure to "always trust handfreelink" etc

Hi AcuraLover,

I have a 8130 sprint pearl and a 2006 tl and cannot get the bluetooth pairing to work well. Every call that comes in you have to manually connect. Same goes for all outgoing calls? Any advice would be appreciated.
