OEM or Aftermarket navigation ?

OEM or Aftermarket navigation ?

I was wondering what would be better...

My TL doesn't have navi and i want one.

Should i get An Aftermarket Double Din or OEM stock NAvi ??

What are the Advantages and Disadvantages ?

oem ftw. dont forget you need to custom make like everything to make a double din fit...

Garmin, Tom Tom or the like would provide better navigation than either.... plus you can upgrade them for cheap every year. You are never locked in to a Garmin for long.

The 3G Acura navigation is many years behind in technology becuase it is many years old.

If you want more than just navigation... like integration, a project to work on, something cool looking, etc, then pick your poison.

cant just go double din. if you did ppl usually put them where the radio is (CD) spot or down low were the 2 trays are on the center console, so if you have a 6M shift is right there. OEM is expensive too u have to buy the screen, dvd player, ant

3rd option- Carputer.
If I were to spend that kind of money, at least I'd get something nice and flexible.
