factory navi

Just ordered the roof harness for the harness switch/navi install but I think I may have the wrong dash harness. My parts guy said that they did not make a MT in o4 and there is only one harness for the dash. I noticed there is a cabin harnness listed in the Delray parts web page that looks like it is part of the dash. Did you use the dash harness or the cabin harness? Part number?? Thanks

One question, did you have drop the whole dashboard or just remove all the panels to get to the dash harness. My installer wants to know for it will effect the total cost of the harness install. Thanks

Yea I know, my regular parts guy was out yesterday when I picked up my harness and I was not about to go around and around with this other parts guy.

Hey Skeedatl, I hate to be a pest, but can you tell me how much of the dash you had to remove to install the factory dash harness? My installer is a couple of days away for the install and he would like to know. Thanks for your help.

Hey now does this hook up to the wheels so that when you loose a gps fix the map keeps on getting updated or did this never really exist in our car. Also is there a light sensor to install?

I saw the parts list and I couldn't tell if these were included.

Thanks for the help

I also have an issue with my Clock. No modifications, but when i take it to to the dealer and they have to fix something they disconnect the battery. When I get it back I can't sync the clock from the Nav and also when i put in an address, the music will fade but no voice comes out to direct me. I have the original DVD, i think Version 3.5. The dealer said i need to purchase the latest DVD for me to sync the clock. But I shouldn't need a new disk unless I want upgraded streets. But for some reason the problem always fixes itself at the dealership, dont know how, but its doing it again because they had to disconnect my battery. Any ideas?
