Non Nav converting to something new. . .
I just got my 04 aspec w/out nav and im not used to having such a plane radio. I was wondering about some ideas on converting it over to sometihng new. I dont necessarly need a carputer but im not totally ruling that out. . .
What I would like to ask is
1) What ideas our out there to spice it up
2) Costs involved. . . what would a carputer cost to put in and get going (I would not be installing myself)
3) Any other input or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks alot guys!

installing yourself would be about 1k, having it done pro would be in the 2k+ range as it would require some fabrication

First off, congrats on the ride.
Have you checked out the 3G TL Audio & Electronics FAQ yet? I don't know if the mediagate is something that you'd want to do, but its worth a look.
A search for aftermarket in this subforum should bring up a few threads with aftermarket head units. Some are linked in the FAQ. Good luck!

If you're local or willing to drive out to MD then our shop can do this for you.
