Talking New phone

I went into the store because my phone was on the fritz. The tech couldn't fix it and there was none available for replacement. They allowed me to swap out phones. I chose the Katana. I lost the capability for power vision... who cares! I gained blue tooth. YAY! I've been wanting this phone for a while now and I got if for free!

I took it out to the car and paired. Boo-Yah! Connection, signal strength, battery life all came right away. I was in heaven. I called my parents and my sister picked up. There was no problems with volume on either side. I had to test out the transferring the call from phone to care several times doing the "can you hear me now" routine. My sister finally said "Are you done playing around yet?" My response was "Can you hear me now?" lol

The only problem I have had so far was trying to use the HFL with the phone in my pocket. My wallet is right beside it and it cased the mute button to be pressed while on a call. Not to bad for only having it for 1.5 hours.

Makes you think bluetooth should be standard in all cars doesn't it?

Congrats on getting your new phone to work with the HFL and thanks for the report.

Unfortunately, there are a few threads on the Katana here:In the future, please post this into the ongoing sticky at the top of this forum: 3GTL/2GRL Bluetooth Phones Compatibility...

This thread is where most members should go to check for phone compatibility. Thanks again.
