NEED HELP! 2006 TL Navigation randomly freezing

Couple months back I started noticing from time to time, all the navigation functions and pretty much the whole screen would freeze up until either the car is restarted or the nav system restarts itself. The audio and AC functions still work perfectly fine, regardless of if the screen is frozen or not. I've tried cleaning the disk before and it hasn't seemed to help that much. Very rarely will it throw the "check navigation disk" message. I also have the USA Spec BT45-HON3 Bluetooth adapter plugged into the XM module but I'm not sure if that would really be interfering with the nav system, since audio works perfectly fine, but I also have not tried messing around with it a lot to see if that's the issue. I've ran the module for a couple of months before these issues started popping up. I've done quite a bit of digging around these forums with not much found. If any of you have any ideas where to start diagnosing or what it could be, it would be greatly appreciated. Thx!

Slowly but surely, all of our nav unit's are starting to die a slow, agonizing death since Acura stopped supporting them back in 2019.
Time for you to start researching Tesla/Android tablet conversions for nav functionality. But it's not OEM

The only problem I have with the android tablets is it removes the OEM look, and I'm pretty sure you loose the clock adjustment functionality

Yup that's the tradeoff. I know Alpine can repair the nav unit, around $400 currently, if it's the correct problem that they can fix.

For me I'd rather put that $400 into a non-antiquated system with live traffic, streaming music etc.
