Need confirmation for iPod/DVD set up

I've been over these threads over and over, but still not 100% sure I'm good to go. I have a 07 Canadian TL-S (has XM button, but no XM service).

The big question:

Can I get the following setup (and have it work):

1. iPod integration through Peripheral unit with on screen display and steering wheel control
2. DVD playback with Dom's unit and audio through the Peripheral unit.

Any help would be AWESOME!

You may want to try Uncald4. He's one of our vendors. I bought mine from him and everything was perfect right out of the box. He is good people to. You will have peace of mind buying from him.

^^ Thank you for your compliments Trew.

You'll need the Peripheral PXAMG and the PGHHD2 harness for Acura w/ NavTraffic. There is currently a pre-order for AcuraZine members right now. By pre-order I mean that the PGHHD2 harness will not be released for another few weeks. I recommend that you get your order in ASAP. The pre-order line is not short!

Link to order in my sig...

Thanks for the info, but I do not have Nav Traffic in my TL-S. Would I still need the additional harness?

No you won't. The regular harness will work fine. Good for you because there will be no extra cost involved except for the price of the regular harness.

Every 3rd Gen TL-S has NavTraffic in U.S. trim. I assume that is the same for models in Canada. Many people don't know that they have NavTraffic when they do. The easiest way to find out is to call XM with your XM radio ID found on channel 1. If you have NavTraffic your XM ID will be tagged as so in their system.

One more additional question about the Peripheral adapter installation:

I have XM and want to keep it- does the Peripheral adapter allow XM to be used, or does it disable XM?

Thanks
