Hi,

I just bought a Oranage disc 3.5 for my 2004 Acura MDX from ebay but when I launch it freezes everything. When I put the disc in, it starts to load, it starts to draw red and black lines, but once I try to do anything it takes a long time and eventually freezes. Is the right version for my car, is there something I need to do or is it just a bad disc. The disc does have some scratches but I just wanted to check before I send it back. I talked to the seller and he said that I could return or exchange it with no problem.

There person I bought the disc off, just sent me another copy. So, I know it is not the disc. Is there something that you need to do when you first set it up?? All I did was put the disc in and start the car and wait for everything to launch. Do I have to run a startup program or press any certain buttons? Any help would be appreciated.

2004 mdx is orange disc 3.XX. So it's not a compatibility issue.

Something is fishy. 3.5 discs cannot be copied (easily). It has to do with how the 3.XX discs are stamped. On the other hand, 4.XX discs can easily be copied.
Is he sending you the original? Why does he have extras? Does your old disc work?
I bought a 3.6 disc off ebay with a lot of scratches and it still works fine.
