I just purchased a used 06 AT-Navi, and it didn't come with the nav disc. The place I bought it from told me I could get it from the dealer (and they'd reimburse me), so I went to the dealer, and they directed me to http://www.acuranavi.com. So I go there... and find out that "The Fall 2007 update (2008 Model Year) is currently not available. Please check back again later."

So how in the hell do I get this disc? I don't care if it's 100% current, I just want *something*.

Any suggestions you guys might have would be greatly appreciated.

you can do one of two things....you can either wait for the discs to get in stock (don't really know how long that will take, but I had ordered and bought one 2 weeks ago, so they must have just currently gone out of stock), or you can pick up an older version of the nav disk for a lot cheaper. the new version discs run $190 shipped (i bought mine for $150 during their "sale" a few weeks ago). the new version are version 3.7 for the orange disk. i have an older version to sell, 3.4, if you are interested in buying that one.

Ahhh, gotcha. I figured there just wasn't anything available for the '06 yet, not that they were sold out. Unless you're only looking for like $10 for 3.4, I'll just wait until the 3.7's back in stock. Thanks for your help!

$10 is a bit low, i think i can get more than that if i sold the disc as a drink coaster anyway, the 3.7 disc isn't too different from the 3.4 i have, but it does have updated POI's (points of interest), so there are more updated restaurant and gas station locations. also, you can try checking the "off topic" section and check the "for sale" area to see if anyone is selling one for cheaper than u can get from the website

I just ordered mine last Friday and got it on Tuesday. So not only did it go off of the sale price, it also went out of stock.

I had started a thread asking this question but no one answered. What do you get with no DVD in the drive? Is it that the navigation just doesn't come up and all the other functions work (Voice Rec, HFL, Audio, etc)?

As mentioned earlier, mine didn't come with the disc (waiting for it to get back in stock, I guess), but HRL & audio both work. You can use the nav screen for changing audio stuff, just can't access the nav functions themselves.

Here's hoping that they print more discs soon!
