What do you mean—do you mean ripping it out of the dash, or using the Navi to find your house and rob it?

i believe if the navigation is tampered with....it will reset....so if stolen....it will only work if u put in the navigation/radio codes.......but i think what ur asking is if ur car gets stolen can the car be tracked with the navigation...the answer is no

thanks for the info... but what i was trying to find out is if there is something which discourages a thief from breaking in and taking it. Like stock stereos have a PIN... and does this actually deter people from taking it? Its not a concern about them finding my home or tracking the car with it

Navigayion screen (in dash unit) has no protection. Radio head unit and navi computer in the trunk require PINs if disonnected.
