NAVI display brightness - day/night toggle?

The RDX has this button below the navi screen that lets you immediately toggle
day/night/OFF on the Navi display....not sure if the TL has it other than
going into the setup function and choosing the option.

Is there a shortcut button to do this?

The button to which "justnspace" refers is labelled "MAX." It toggles the dashboard lights to and from max brightness and is something you'd use in situations like driving in the rain or on a two-lane road or when the sun is low on the horizon where your headlights have to be on during the day. If your Navi is set to "Auto" display mode, meaning it switches to night mode when you turn on the headlights, using the "MAX" toggle switch will switch the Navi back to daylight mode (and, of course, vice versa if you later need to switch it back).

The "MAX" button will not, however, turn off the Navi display. You can use the voice commands to do that, though, if you don't want to click through the menus.

Does keeping your Navi on max do any harm? Do most of you guys keep yours on max, or the level below it?

I usually keep it on max but wasn't sure if it will decrease the bulb life.
