Nav update DVD question
So I purchased a White Acura 2015 DVD update from a guy to update my original disc in my 2008 TLS. The disc directions specificly say that there is a
"setup" disc that needs to be run. There was no "setup" disc in the folder. The guy said the folder did not come with a "setup" disc and he just installed the
white disc in his player and everything was good. Anyone with any knowledge of what is the correct thing for me to do? Thanks!

I've never heard of a set-up disc for the TL Navi systems-- the DVD just gets loaded into the trunk-mounted Navi player after the prior version DVD is ejected.
The Navi DVDs do sometimes contain updates that download into the Navi system on the initial install before locating the satellites and operating normally.
Eject the old Navi disc and load the newer disc in its place. Keep your Navi code handy just in case it's needed.

no install folder needed, just eject your old DVD and put the new DVD. The car will automatically detect the disk and ran the install itself. DO NOT turn the car off during the installation.
