Nav screen blank '06 TL
Just noticed today my nav screen is blank. Not off, but blank. I can still see it is back lit, but absolutely nothing displays. I don't use my nav much but I also noticed the display above the nav where the clock is also doesn't display what it should, like volume level and stereo mode. The clock and heater settings still show though. I searched a few threads for this but there doesn't seem to be an answer, other than shipping the drive off to Alpine. So just curious if anyone knows of another solution?

Please help! Does the trunk DVD drive have anything to do with the connection between the Nav screen and the upper LCD display? It's driving me crazy I can't set the clock or see what the volume level is or what mode my stereo is in! Any thoughts at all?

Thanks. I had a disc read error a while back, checked the disc and cleaned the lens and it worked great after that. What puzzles me this time is I don't even get an error message on the nav screen, it's just blank but still backlit. And I'm not sure why the upper LCD quit at the same time, but only the stereo info doesn't show. There must be some connection there. I'm going to check the connections in the back of the stereo this weekend. Something may have came loose as I installed ISimple a few months ago.
