Hello,

I just purchased my beautiful 2008 TL Type-S about 3 months ago. I love it, except the fact that I cannot play DVD's on the NAV. I saw on youtube a guy that has his all tricked out, and was wondering if anyone knew what I would have to do to be able to watch DVD's through the NAV system.

that's member "jptl04" TL-S.

he is using a doms nav2go module to play dvd's. it's a unit that plugs into your factory nav unit in the trunk. he's also using an isimple to get his audio.

doms nav2go for video. and isimple for audio.

send "jptl04" a PM and i'm sure he'd be happy to point you in the right direction. also, do a google search with those hot terms and read read read. i'm currently in the process of installing these components. it's pretty straightforward once you have all the necessary equipment. you can also check out the audio/video section of the forum. plenty of threads and info on both of these items.

 

yea and check jptl04's Thread on how he did this setup. Its Pretty Bad ass, I even asked him if he would consider producing a few more of those for us acruraziners

 

He's pretty helpful. He took the time to answer my many questions.
