so i get into my car, press ok on the navi, everythings fine, then 5 minutes later it tells me it cant read it and to please consult my dealer

The obvious answer half of you guys will give me is to go to the dealer, not yet, thats a hassle for me with my work schedule. I took out the DVD reinserted it and it still doesnt read, the DVD was extremely hot(naturally) but i was wondering if anyone had this problem?

Its the WHITE NAVI DVD ver 4.62

Trip, try cleaning the disc with a soft cloth. That might help....

will do hope its all it needed, im also letting it cool down, tho i dont see why i should as long as its not the actual system..

well it worked, cooled down disc and cleaned. i searched through the forum and stumbled upon this...

now im worried, one guy claimed cleaning it worked but the same problem kept happening
